Team Duct Tape is ready for a great weekend of fun and competition at the Florida FTC State Championship , this Saturday, February 28, at the University of South Florida Campus Recreation Center.

We’ve worked hard and spruced up our robot, cleaned up our interview, tidied our Engineers notebook, tweaked our programs, and crossed our fingers. Now we’re ready to join 24 other teams from around the state for a chance to win awards and a spot at the World Championship in Atlanta in April

The State Championship is free to attend and open to the public. USF Campus Recreation  is located at 4202 East Fowler Avenue in Tampa. The day’s schedule is as follows (due to the complexity of robotics competitions, times may vary):

Team Duct Tape is very grateful to the Florida West Coast Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for making possible our participation in the state championship; to Paul Markun of Tampa Technik, to Learning is for Everyone, and to all our family and friends who have been so supportive and encouraging.

We’ll do our very best to honor your confidence in our journey!
