Our first week of FLL summer camp ended with a group of happy campers! Students spent the last day of camp trying their hands and minds at solving some of last season’s FLL Climate Change challenges. It was a good exercise in the importance of keeping things simple, as they explored some pretty fantastic looking attachments!
It looks like at least one new Tampa area FLL team will develop from
the camp, and with all the energy and passion THINK kids showed, it looks like it’ll be a great one.
Campers showed a good grasp of FLL values, picked up principles of NXT G programming, and robot construction pretty quickly, and are looking forward to trying out their new skills in our upcoming mini-tournament and FIRST Community Open House on July 6.
