Looking sharp and ready for state!

TDT members got all decked out in their great new team shirts today, and hunkered down for the start of crunch week, tweaking, cleaning, and making final improvements to their Super Cube before next Saturday’s Florida FTC State Championship.

Members also worked on our display for tomorrow’s Tampa Bay Area Renaissance Festival  , where we’re

TDT at 2009 Bay Area Renaissance Festival

 hosting a table to mark Davinci Inventions weekend.  We had a ball at last year’s event, and look forward to the fun and excitement of everything from street theater and music, to jousting and human chess. 

We’ll have a bunch of info about FIRST,  as well as our own brand of entertainment available, with a trebuchet (one of our members actually owns one!), some simple mechanical devices, and a couple of hardy little robots (Super Cube has to stay home and out of the dust!)
