Team Duct Tape enjoyed a visit from writer Suzanne Schmidt, of the Land O’Lakes Patch today. Ms. Schmidt learned about TDT during a visit to Sun Lake High School a few weeks back, where she met one of our team members who invited her to learn more about our team and FIRST. Chris Squared ( Chris 1.0 and Chris 3.0) were on hand to showcase robot design and development, programming and what FIRST is all about. The Patch is an up and coming new media, with a great local community focus. The Old Northeast Patch covered the Seminole High School competition a couple of weeks ago, and the Seminole Heights Patch did a great piece on Middleton High School’s great win at the USF Polytechnic event in Lakeland last Saturday.
Hey Jude – Help Us Help a TDT Family
Jude is the 7 yr old brother of three Team Duct Tape alumni, who has been battling brain cancer. We can’t wait for Jude to join Team Duct Tape and be part of our robotics team when he’s older, too! Please help at Jude’s GoFundMe campaign, if you can. Thank you!
