Team Duct Tape and Reach Up Students

Team Duct Tape members had fun introducing Conway Middle School’s Reach Up! students to FTC, and it looks like the students had a pretty good time learning about FTC and driving the robot.  Before meeting with the Reach Up! students, TDT members got a tour of nearby University of Central Florida’s Engineering school and the campus itself – which they learned is the 2nd largest university in the U.S. , with a school enrollment of nearly 60,000 students, and a really huge campus, proved by the considerable hiking they did to see just a small portion of the school.

But they were on familiar turf when it came to demoing the robot and sharing information about FIRST and FIRST Tech Challenge.  Reach Up students definitely have some serious potential as future roboticists, too!
