
Connect Award Winners & Inspire Award Runner Up!
It was – quite literally! – a day of highs and lows. High flying scissor lifts that brought in a new world record score of 584 and one of our team members, Ethan L., winning a coveted Embry-Riddle Scholarship, worth $20,000, and the lows of a tough game full of scoring challenges. The high score wasn’t ours, but it’s Florida’s and we’re proud! And we’re really proud of Ethan!
Coming to TDT as a 13 year old apprentice three years ago, Ethan has become an integral member of the team whose solid, goal-oriented work ethic is a key part of our success as a team.
Our own performance on the field, while solid, wasn’t as competitive as we’d like, due to the phenomenal competition posed by ridiculously high performing elevators and scissor lifts. But while our ranking on the field was low, we flew high in overall team performance, bringing in the Connect Award and
– thanks to a state lottery win – a slot in the World Championship as Inspire Award runners up! (Congrats to Inspire Award Winners Dent n the Universe, and Finalist Alliance Captains,
