TDT Here, There and Everywhere!

We've got a scissor lift!

Barnes & Noble outreach crew

Team Duct Tape’s been on the road a lot lately, kicking off World Championship fundraiser events, like the recent Barnes & Noble Book Fair, working at Tampa Technik in St. Petersburg, with mentor Paul Markun working on the new scissor lift design, and yesterday at the first ever Tampa Bay Mini Maker Faire, where 300 people came to enjoy exhibits and activities that included robots from FIRST teams, the Univ. of South Florida and others.  FTC teams Brick Buddies and Mission imPossible were there, too.

Today, the team’s headed back out to Tampa Technik, and will be putting in some additional work this week in the hopes of being up and running for the Jr. FLL Expo at the Glazer Children’s Museum next Saturday, where we’ll be helping anchor an FTC exhibit (and maybe getting a little scrimmaging in) with Middleton High School’s Masquerade and maybe dent in the universe, all three St. Louis bound.

Just three more weeks until the FIRST World Championship!
