The new season build is in full swing, at TDT 5.0 HQ, and team members are taking a thoughtful approach to their design and build process. The last couple of weeks have been spent evaluating strategies and designs, creating prototypes and testing ideas.

Last night, team members visited with our Super Mentor, Paul Markun, of Tampa Technik, for some expert guidance on some of our approaches.   Today, we hope to make final decisions on our ring grappling device and start pulling all the parts of the build together in something resembling our final robot.

We hope to be ready for the first scrimmage of our ROBOT League on November 3, where we can put our robot through its paces – and our new team through theirs!
