BRISTOL, R.I., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Roger Williams University today announced that it has offered $200,000 in scholarships to the winning team of the 2008 FIRST LEGO(R) League “Climate Connections” robotics Challenge hosted on campus January 10. Four-year RWU scholarships of $5,000 each year were awarded to all ten members of the winning team. Roger Williams University is the first organization to offer a college scholarship to a FIRST LEGO League winning team in the competition’s ten-year history.
